ABOUT KAREN
Karen Evanetz has been designing and building costumes for the past 25 years.
Originally trained as a performer, she has a degree in Music Education. She has appeared in numerous commercials , industrial films and stage performances.
Because of her experience on stage, Karen understands the value of a well designed and professionally engineered costume.
EXPERIENCE
For 8 years, Karen was the costume shop manager for Sesame Place, one of the Annheuser Busch Adventure Parks. She has been creating one of a kind solo costumes for dancers, skaters and baton twirlers for the past 12 years. She has designed costumes for the following dance productions:
Mary Poppins, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Oklahoma, Wizard of Oz, The Snowman, and Peter Pan, as well as local dinner theatre productions.
TRAINING
Karen has been trained in patternmaking, draping and tailoring at the following schools:

Moore College of Art and Design, Philadelphia ,PA
